I’ve been told by multiple NWA natives that Hugo’s have the best burgers in the area, and let me tell you they were right! We stopped in after going to the Fayetteville farmer’s market and wow we were blown away! They were on a wait but we got on the list quickly, stopped at the bar and got a drink from the wonderful bartender, then waited outside on a lovely day for our wait list text. We got in and sat at a charming table by the wall and our server Sandra was fast and amazing, fast and friendly. She recommended the blue moon burger and it might actually have been the best burger I’ve ever eaten! I highly recommend anyone to come in to Hugo’s and eat.

Went there after a long day of travelling into Arkansas. Had a chilled beer which was okay (was a local brew). It was jam packed (Saturday night so expected), the venue was so cosy and lively. I ordered a burger and it came with a side of chips. Ordered medium rare nut received a medium. However, it didn't matter because the burger tasted very good. Would recommend anyone to come here. Solid place, and friendly bartenders too.

We got 2 cheese burgers, both with bacon, one with American the other cheddar, came with potato chips, got a basket of fries. All of it was delicious. Fries were 6.50 but the amount is shown so comes with a lot. The only downside was the server took a few minutes to take our order. We sat down and obviously busy which is fine, once we got our order in everything was great! Decent prices too. Con: it is down some stairs and a little dark

Fayetteville's Iconic Burger Restaurant, Hugos, has been in business almost 48 years. The burgers are amazing, the fries homemade, the atmosphere is vintage and service is friendly. You can't make a reservation, but you can put your name on the list and check out Fayetteville's Downtown Square while you wait. Street parking is limited, but plenty behind the restaurant. You have to check it out if looking for a great burger, at a reasonable price in an iconic place!

Cool place to get a great meal! We arrived about 11:30am and found a parking spot in front of the restaurant and a table for our party. Luck was definitely on our side!

Great burgers and sandwiches. Fresh made fries with great twice fry texture. I had the chili burger. Really liked it despite being a Texas chili man. Great location downtown in an eclectic basement bar.

We arrived at the perfect time for an early dinner with only a 30 minute wait. We were seated but it took 20 minutes for our server to take our drink order, and the table seated after us ordered first. I didn’t mention it because it was busy and although in a bit of a hurry, we were cutting it close timewise. We just ordered a couple burgers, a club, and fries for the table. The club and burgers were delicious and cooked as requested. Our food ended coming out very fast, so I forgot about the delay with ordering. We barely touched the fries due to having plenty of food on our plates, but they also weren’t that special. Perhaps with some ketchup and a carb craving they would’ve been more satisfying but, let’s face it, we went for the delicious burgers. The price was great. Least expensive meal we had while in town. If I’m in need of a burger, I’ll definitely be back.

This place was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious, great size portions, and very reasonably priced. But the service really takes the cake. We had a large party with kids and split checks. Our server (Gwen) took excellent care of us, got everything spot on even though it was super busy. Everyone in the place seemed genuinely glad to have us there and was really nice. You won't regret the parking search to hit this basement eatery! Really cool decor and vibe!
